Enjoy the Hill Country Views in Bonnell!

Here at Kissing Tree, we’re all excited about the blustery fall weather we’ve had this week, as well as the upcoming launch of our newest neighborhood section, Bonnell! Named for Austin’s hilltop landmark Mount Bonnell, this new section perches close to the golf course between the 10th hole and the driving range, wrapping around the 1st hole. While the golf course access is lovely, the best part of Bonnell is definitely the amazing Hill Country views.

Bonnell’s position high on a hilltop was designed to take full advantage of the rolling Hill Country topography. “You get peeks of downtown San Marcos to the northeast, and then also views down the driving range all the way to the amenity center,” the Kissing Tree Development Planning Team told us. “There’s really nothing else like it in the neighborhood.”

Bonnell will offer a serpentine main drive that sweeps around the L-shaped curve of the hillside. It ends in a grand cul-de-sac with large lots that offer views down the driving range. Two to three smaller streets will fill out the section. Only 27 homesites will be available in phase one, with approximately 75 lots by the time the section is complete.

Bonnell is located just north of The Mix, and a quick golf cart ride will take Bonnell residents to the pools, fitness center, and good times at Independence Hall. For birders and joggers, Bonnell offers trail access to the natural beauty of the Willow Creek Greenbelt. “As part of the land development, a natural trail will be put in place along the banks of Willow Creek over the next few months,” the development team says.

Land development is currently underway in Bonnell, and sales for homesites in the new section will start soon. Another bit of coming soon excitement: we have some extraordinary new floor plans to go with these amazing lots! Look for more information on those to be released in the next few weeks.
