Kissing Tree turns 10, and starts a new chapter in our story

Kissing Tree is now 10 years old, with about half of our community completed. We’re starting an exciting new chapter with new neighborhoods, new model homes and a major new amenity called The Junction.

Kissing Tree residents know a lot about starting exciting new chapters in the second half of life. At 10 years old, Kissing Tree is writing a major new story of our own.

With more than 1,500 homes sold to date, we’re at the halfway point in our vision for up to 3,150 homes at completion.

This year, our future development activity moved south across Centerpoint Road. Our first neighborhood south of Centerpoint, the Cottages at McKinney, opened this fall, offering homes priced from the low $400,000s by Brookfield Residential.

Many Kissing Tree residents and visitors are already familiar with the beautiful terrain and vistas on the south side of Centerpoint, because this area is home to 7 of the 18 holes of our scenic Audubon-certified Kissing Tree Golf Course.

In anticipation of our second act, we opened our new Model Home Village and Guest House welcome center south of Centerpoint in early 2026. The Village has 10 fully furnished model homes and convenient onsite design centers by Brookfield Residential and David Weekley Homes.

Moving the Model Home Village gave us the opportunity to reimagine the future of our original Kissing Tree visitor center, located in the heart of The Mix. That’s opened the way for us to add a major new component to The Mix, our 20-acre amenity campus.

Named The Junction, this nearly 6,000-square-foot building has been remodeled and transformed into a multipurpose activity center for our residents. It has two large activity rooms that will host an expanded array of fitness classes, club meetings, games, movies and much more.

These new spaces at The Junction are flooded with natural light and views of the Biergarten, Veterans Plaza and other attractions at The Mix. They have large overhead doors that can be opened in nice weather, and the patio area can be used as a performance stage.

Welcoming David Weekley Homes to the Kissing Tree family was another significant milestone. This now gives us two quality homebuilders for buyers to choose from, and we couldn’t be more proud to have David Weekley building in our community. Started in Texas 50 years ago, David Weekley is one of the nation’s most successful builders, and the first to win the industry’s coveted “Triple Crown” of awards.

At Kissing Tree, we greatly appreciate all of the residents who helped make our first 10 years such a success, and we welcome all of the new homeowners who would love to join our growing family!
