Hill Country Homecoming: A Grand Opening to Remember

The spirit of celebration was alive and well at Kissing Tree this past weekend as we welcomed guests for our Hill Country Homecoming grand opening. With cool spring weather (and even a few April showers), lively music, and a full lineup of experiences, it was a party that truly captured the energy and heart of our growing community.

Welcome to Model Village

From the moment guests checked in, the excitement was clear. On both Saturday and Sunday, attendees were greeted with custom Kissing Tree tote bags, a Model Village map, and name tags that made it easy to connect, whether you were a current resident or a first time guest. Inside the stunning new Guest House welcome center, guests could grab a Model Village Passport and start their journey through our newest model homes.

Passport to Prizes

The passport experience added a fun sense of adventure to the day. Visitors who explored each model home had the chance to win prizes like a YETI cooler and Ninja Slushie from Brookfield Residential or a Solo Stove and Pizza Oven from David Weekley Homes. We saw plenty of friendly competition as guests made their way through the village.

Cheers to New Friends

By the time afternoon hit on both Saturday and Sunday afternoon, the event was in full swing. The Guest House buzzed with conversation, laughter, and the clinking of glasses. Outside at the bar, the Lavender Lemonade and other fun beverages quickly became a crowd favorite. We met guests who traveled from near and far, including visitors from Denver to South Carolina, all drawn by the excitement of experiencing Kissing Tree firsthand.

Dancing our Hearts Out

Live music from local favorites Gone to Texas and Jukebox Heroes set a festive tone, and the Kissing Tree Line Dancing club brought energy to the dance floor and invited everyone to join in the fun. It wasn’t long before guests were kicking up their heels and embracing the Hill Country spirit.

Join the Club

Thank you to all of the Kissing Tree groups and clubs who came out to make the day such a success. We were thrilled to have representatives from many of Kissing Tree’s social and volunteer organizations, including the Deep End Pool Club, KT Fine Artists, The Studio at Kissing Tree, Men’s and Women’s Golf Associations, KT Pickleball Association, The Who Dunnit Mystery Book Club, the KT Darters, KT Backs Our Blue, KT Photo Club, KT Quilting Group, KT RV Group, KT Travel and Social Group, Creative Corner, KT Rosary Warriors, KT Singles Group, KT 42 Dominoes Group, KT Poker Group, KT Bridge Group, Tuesday Games Group, and the KT Veterans Group. With all of the clubs and groups at Kissing Tree, there is definitely something for everyone!

Working up an Appetite

Of course, no celebration is complete without great food. Guests enjoyed a variety of tasty bites available for purchase, from pizza and classic corndogs to refreshing sno-balls from Casey’s — perfect for a Texas afternoon. The stormy weather caused an early end to the party on Sunday afternoon, but honestly, that’s just part of Hill Country living. We tend to welcome the rain when it decides to fall!

Making Kissing Tree Connections

More than anything, the weekend was about connection. Neighbors met neighbors, future residents imagined their lives here, and longtime community members came together to celebrate this exciting new chapter. The opening of our new Model Village and Guest House marks a meaningful milestone, and the Hill Country Homecoming was the perfect way to share it.

Thank you to everyone who joined us — we loved celebrating with you and can’t wait to welcome you back to Kissing Tree soon. If you want to live here sooner, check out our move-in-ready homes. Or feel free to come back anytime to chat with our builders Brookfield Residential and David Weekley Homes about floor plans, available homesites, and special incentives. Our teams are always happy to work with you to help you find your Kissing Tree future.
