High five for 2025! - Kissing Tree

High five for 2025!

Happy 2026, y’all! As we settle into the new year this January, we’re remembering some of the highlights of 2025 that we celebrated here at Kissing Tree. Our team grew, and we had a lot of homeowners join the family, too! Here are a few of our top highlights:

New Human Neighbors

Last year 225 families started their next chapter here at Kissing Tree! You can get to know some of them on our Kiss and Tell blog, including the Stiglers. While the Stiglers won’t close until the end of January this year, they were able to start participating in all of our fun events and start using our amazing amenities as soon as they signed their contract!

New Team Members

Behind every great neighborhood is a great team. In 2025, Kissing Tree added two new Community Life team members, Cindy Santiesteban and Martha Perkins. Our Fitness Center welcomed Emily Young, and Dave Carlisle came back to join us as General Manager of the Kissing Tree Golf Club.

New Events

It’s a good thing we added to the team, because Community Life hosted a whopping 250 events in 2025! Not only were there annual favorites like the Wurstfest trip, the infamous Aqua Rodeo, the KT Independence Day Party,  the KTPA Pickleball Invitational, the Kissing Tree Christmas Bazaar, and Live Music at the Mix events, but also lots of new fun. Our Brookfield team hosted KTX to welcome folks who are considering what a move to KT would feel like.

New Strength

Speaking of events, the Kissing Tree Fitness Center hosted 18 special events in addition to the 3,224 fitness classes they hosted throughout the year! Congratulations to Micah Ross and the Fitness Center team for keeping us all strong and steady as we start 2026.

New Ways to Help

We can’t forget all of the powerful efforts KT made to give back to the greater community, such as the golf ball fundraiser from the Veteran’s Group, the TXST@KT Scholarship Fund, KT Veterans Toys for Tots, and this year, our partnership with the Salvation Army to support flood relief efforts for neighbors in Kerr County.

New Art Studio

In 2025, the shipping container that once served as the very first Kissing Tree sales center was transformed into a welcoming, functional space for our community’s artists. Today, the KT Art Studio hosts multiple weekly classes and serves as a gathering spot for collaboration, creativity, and building community.

New Builder

This year we were thrilled to welcome David Weekley Homes as a partner builder here at Kissing Tree. With more than 45 years of homebuilding experience, David Weekley offers 22 innovative floor plans starting from the high $300s. This highlight is one that will continue into 2026 when David Weekley opens their brand new model homes alongside Brookfield Residential (and KT gets a new Welcome Center!) in the spring. Come by and check them out for yourself!

We hope that 2026 is just as bright as 2025. Of course, what really matters to us is what our KT neighbors say. This quote from Karen Babcock really summed up why we do what we do: “We were excited to live in a true “community” not just a neighborhood. We moved from Washington state, so being able to make new friends in our community was a top priority & all the wonderful activities available made it so easy to meet people with shared interests.” Thanks, Karen! We’re so glad you’re here!

New Kissing Stories

You all enjoyed the updates on the Kiss and Tell Blog this year. Our top story was about our newest section, Sabine, followed by our profile of our first buyers in Sabine. You also spent a lot of time reading up on Veterans’ fundraiser and all the fun you can have with your grandkids at KT

If you’re not our neighbor yet, come find your home at Kissing Tree!
