Our Pools are Cool!

Y’all, in the last few weeks, the temperatures have been creeping up to those triple digits. It’s really starting to feel like summer around Kissing Tree. That’s why it’s a little bittersweet to  announce that our two beautiful swimming pools are nearly finished—a junior-Olympic-sized Indoor Pool and a resort-style Outdoor Pool. We’re so excited to share them—and we can’t wait to get everyone in the pools very soon!

But, because The Mix complex is still closed for now, it’s a great time to check out the new video of the Outdoor Pool and our immersive 360° virtual tour of the Indoor Pool. If you have a VR headset, use that to feel like you’re really there, or just click around on any other device to explore the building. Hopefully we’ll all get to experience these beautiful new pools in person very soon.

With the Indoor Pool, be sure to look for:

Glass Wall: The expansive glass doors on the west side of the Indoor Pool can be rolled open to allow indoor/outdoor access to Hill Country views and the outdoor resort-style pool.

Lounging Area: Plush lounge chairs and tables make the perfect spot to rest after a workout, visit with friends and neighbors, or read a book.

 Lap Lanes: Four lap lanes make this junior-Olympic-sized pool a great place to work on your fitness, whether you prefer a gentle backstroke or you’re training for your next triathlon.

Living Wall: The east side of the Indoor Pool has a verdant green wall that brings the outside in.

Pool Rules: Of course there’s no running, but at this pool, you’re also not allowed to whine or do anything that starts with the words, “Hey y’all, watch this!” Sounds pretty KT to us!

Club-Style Changing Rooms: Ooh la la. What you can’t see in the virtual tour are our club-style changing rooms with day lockers, spacious dressing areas, and private showers.

With the Outdoor Pool, be sure to look for:

Beach Entry: A gentle beach entry lets everyone walk in and get wet at their own speed.

 Sun Shelf: The lounge chairs aren’t in place yet, but this spot on the south side of the pool will be the place where you can stretch out, relax and stick your toes in the water.

Infinity Edge: When you stand in the pool and look north, the water seems to disappear into the horizon, giving you an unobstructed view of the Kissing Tree Golf Course and the Texas Hill Country.

Shaded Seating: Need a protected spot out of the sun? We’ve got you covered with a breezy shaded seating area on the west side of the pool.

Party Cabana: When planning your next evening fiesta, the party cabana is available for residents and clubs to rent for social gatherings (whenever we can do that again). When not reserved, it can also be a quiet, shaded spot for a mid-day siesta.

 Hot Tub: It’s been said that Kissing Tree residents like a good party, so we made the hot tub extra large so the whole gang can come on in.

Fire Features: When dusk falls, our beautiful pool-side fire pit creates an atmosphere of warmth and ambiance without taking away from those big and bright Texas
