COVID-19 Updates

To Our Valued Kissing Tree Neighbors and Friends,

These are unprecedented times, but throughout, you can be certain we will always be transparent with our plans.

As we continue to monitor COVID-19, above all, we remain dedicated to keeping our team members, homeowners and homebuyers safe.

We are taking direction from the WHO, CDC, PHAC, OSHA and all local health authorities. As such, we have canceled, revised or rescheduled many of the community events and closed facility buildings.

As we all navigate these new waters, we wanted to take a moment to share our plans.

Community is at the core of everything we do.

At times like these, we need each other more than ever. While our amenities, including The Mix, Independence Hall, and the Kissing Tree Golf Course, are currently closed, we are working on ways to be a resource for you, and to help you to stay connected with your neighbors. Ideas on how we can create a virtual community coming soon!

Our model homes and Welcome Center are open by appointment only. We will ask a few questions about a customer’s health and travel history when scheduling an appointment to ensure a safe and positive visit.

HOA and developer events have been canceled or postponed as well as committee and club meetings. As of now, our parks and open spaces remain open, in accordance with the City of San Marcos’ direction on park closures. Even as people enjoy these spaces, social distancing is strongly encouraged.

Residents have been receiving regular HOA communication with these updates, and the HOA will continue to serve as a good resource for them. HOA staff is available by phone and email.

We’re here to help you stay connected.

We know this is an active community, and you probably miss your neighbors. We will still provide a sense of community during this time—it’ll just be through more creative means, but it’ll still be distinctly Texan. Stay tuned to our Kissing Tree Facebook and website for ways we can stay (virtually) connected to our neighbors and friends. We’ll also include information at Kiss & Tell. If you have ideas, let us know!

We have always had a great sense community at Kissing Tree, so don’t forget to wave at your neighbor from across the street and check in on each other (from a safe distance). We have also heard that hugging your fur-kids relieves stress, so give it a try.

Appointments can be made with our online sales team (1-512-817-0153) or contact your current New Home Counselor. You can also visit our model home park virtually by viewing our floorplans and Quick Move-In homes on our website.

It goes without saying, we are making every effort to keep our communities and people safe, as we adjust our regular community operations.

We are in this together.

We recognize that the fluidity of the situation may require us to change some of the decisions we are making today. We are ready to adapt as necessary.

While we all wrestle with the uncertainty of the situation, we know that we are all in this together.

We offer you our patience, care and commitment, and we will always do our best to meet your needs.

Take care of each other and stay well.
